The 30th Golden Disk Awards is held on 20th and 21th Jan at the Hall of Peace of Kyunghee University Campus. For this years, total 26 teams attend and their spectacle performances are reserved. It was the idols’ Star Wars in the last year, so luxurious line-up of the awards has been highlighted. As its big cast, the popularity vote was hot. Enormous number of fans participated in the vote. Now, the result of the vote is available. Let’s see through albums, songs, rookies, domestic and international rankings of the idols.The Result of Golden Disk Vote 2016Rank of AlbumsGirls’ Generation’s 5th album, ‘Lion Heart’ won the first of the rank. Congratulations! SHINee followed the girls right behind with their 4th album, ‘Odd’, as the second of the rank. BEAST, EXO and BTS followed then; BEAST at 3rd, EXO at 4th, and BTS at 5th.EXO’s ‘Call Me Baby’ got the first rank. Congratulations! Girls’ Generation followed EXO and got 2nd with their song, ‘Lion Heart’. SHINee’s ‘View’ is ranked at the third. Big Bang and Taeyeon followed then; ‘Loser’ at 4th and ‘I’ at 5th.Wow. Lovelyz won over TWICE and became the best rookie. Lovelyz’s ‘Ah-Choo’ got 38.92% and the first. TWICE’s ‘Like OOH-AHH’ got 31.59% and became the 2nd. SEVENTEEN’s ‘Manse’ at 3rd, iKON’s ‘My type’ at 4th, MONSTA X’s ‘Rush’ at 5th followed the two rookie girl groups.It was the top two groups’ duopoly. SHINee’s ‘View’ got about 44% and Girls’ Generation’s ‘Lion Heart’ got about 42%. EXO, BEAST and Taeyeon followed and got similar numbers around 2% each.The difference betwwen domestic and international votes bring the idea how domestic fans and abroad fans have different points of view about K-idols. EXO got 48% and won the first rank. Congratulations! Taeyeon followed as the second and got 46%. SHINee got 1% and become the 3rd and iKON got the 4th. The rest musicians got the percentage under the decimal points.
